  • Photographs

    Thu 12 Nov 2020 CJ

Today your child will bring home a card with an unique reference number on for you to order online your child’s photographs. The photos will not be ready to see today but should be online by Monday.

If your child has siblings in school we have organised for them to have photographs together. They will be allocated to the eldest child’s specific code.

The photographs will need to be ordered online within the next two weeks and they will be delivered directly to school ( this is cheaper for all parents – as delivery to each household will add £5)

If you are having difficulty ordering online – proofs will be sent home in the next two weeks for you to pay in cash like before using the envelop provided.

  • Food bank collection

    Fri 06 Nov 2020 CJ

    Dear Parents/Carers,

In previous years we have collected for the local food bank at Harvest time. This year we are taking part in the reverse advent – where boxes of food and household items are created for people who are really struggling at this time of year.

Items that they already have plenty of are sugar, custard, rice pudding, tinned fruit, tinned spaghetti, smash, corned beef, curry sauce, long life fruit juice, shampoo and deodorant.

Any other tinned or dried food or toothpaste, nail varnish etc would be gratefully received.

We are aiming for the boxes to be collected from school on the 20th November so can all donations be brought in next week.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Bonfire Night

    • Sadly Bonfire Night, like many other events, will be impacted by coronavirus.
    • While we want people to enjoy themselves, we ask everyone to think how they can Keep Wales Safe this Bonfire Night and not spread coronavirus.
    • There should be no organised public bonfires or firework displays this year, as outdoor gatherings of more than 30 people are not allowed anywhere in Wales.
    • If you want to buy fireworks for use in your garden, you can. But fireworks are dangerous, and the added risks of coronavirus means you should think very carefully about doing so this year. If you do buy fireworks for your own use, you should always follow the Firework Code.
    • Remember that any visitors to your garden are not allowed to enter your house. If a firework party in your garden turns into a party in your house, you will be breaking the law and putting everyone at risk of catching COVID.
    • You shouldn’t set off fireworks in a park or other public open space. All local authorities in Wales have banned this.
    • When you are outside your home, always observe social distancing.
    • And stay at home if you or anyone in your extended household has symptoms.
