BOOK AND COLLECT AT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY

Are you looking for help with home schooling? Please let us assist!

We have a wealth of children's books suitable from birth upwards. If you need support with your child's school topic, a new reading book or you are simply looking for a great bedtime story, please give us a call and we will do our best to help!

During the lockdown, local libraries are offering a 'Book and Collect' service. We will discuss what you require, create a bespoke collection of books in English or Welsh and arrange a suitable collection time. Please note, however that, although Bridgend Library is closed at this time, you may use the nearest of the other libraries.

Socially distanced collection slots are available at 10-minute intervals, 6 days a week (Monday -Friday 9:15am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm and Saturdays 9:15am - 1pm). 

Each library card can have up to 20 items on it at any one time and there is no need to worry about late books as there are no charges! 

To return items, you simply drop them off at any time during our opening hours. Return boxes are in the foyer and items will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before they are removed from your library card.

If you are not already a library member, please speak to a member of staff about joining. It is completely free!

Please note that the operating hours of Sarn and Betws branch vary from the above. Sarn is open Monday to Friday 9.15-2.45pm and Betws is open 9.15 -1 & 2pm-5pm on Mondays and Tuesdays and 1pm-5pm on Thursdays.
